About Punakivi Farm
Punakivi Farm was founded in the 18th century. The farm consists of many different buildings and here you can spot both new and old things. The farm complex comprises 6 buildings: the farmhouse with a barn, woodwork shed, granary, cellar, barn and smithy. The farm folk did agricultural, cattle-breeding and iron-forging work, hunted, kept bees, made handicraft items and probably anything and everything else that could and had to be done in those days. The farm still has many different old tools, clothes, money, toys, weapons, etc. You can also view the secret room. It is a room built between the ordinary room ceiling and the loft, allegedly used by the Forest Brothers, who were hiding from the authorities.
You will enjoy the guided farm tour with its master as he will speak about its history and how various things were used.
